Soda Blasting: Spray Paint Won't Stand A Chance

The unfortunate part about being a business owner is the role's responsibility. You have to constantly consider the far-out scenarios of what could happen to your business. One of those burdens is responding to destruction to the business property, such as vandalism. Let us reassure your business that we have the equipment needed to remove spray paint. We use Granite, an OK rock that can blast char or stain off of materials restoring it to the preloss condition. Our business has implemented two strategies when removing graffiti, wet or dry systems.

Wet System

Our team will implement the wet system when there is a need for abrasive solid power. We pride ourselves on our innovativeness in using environmentally friendly products that require some cleanup. This product allows us to use it both wet or dry depending on the surface we need to clean.

Dry System

The dry system is used mainly inside or in areas where we need to stay dry. Our wet system does get surfaces damp due to the process.

How It Works

When completing a soda blasting job, we will have our technicians dress with PPE to avoid the inhaling of dust particles. When they place the surface under negative pressure, it helps eliminate any dust particles that become air-born. If needed, we will then use an air scrubber that ducts the unit out of a window, making it possible for the airborne particles to escape. Once the particles are removed, we will clean the surface, ensuring it is detailed cleaned.

The team will then cover all vents and returns to help isolate the room from the HVAC system, requiring a duct cleaning once the work is completed. This extra step ensures no remaining fine dust particles spread throughout the facility. Finally, some areas may require shellac after the blasting is completed; this isisn'tlways needed.
